A high altitude airdrop container system based on the HAARS concept but using an automatic main recovery parachute activation device. The payload capacity is 2.200 pounds (1000 kg) and is provided with a specialized rigging instruction manual. The High-Altitude Airdrop Resupply System assembly has been used successfully in humanitarian relief efforts when standard. Lower CDS drop altitudes resulted in exposure of the aircraft to danger.
